Award-Winning Vineyards & Wine

Situated at elevations between 1,800 to 2,200 feet you will find the rolling mountain vineyard comprised of 18 acres of award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Sirah with 40 additional acres plantable and permitted. The famous Red Hill AVA is made up of rocky volcanic soils studded with “Lake County Diamonds”, silica rocks found nowhere else in the world.

The first release of the Hawk & Horse label was in 2004 using biodynamic, pesticide free farming practices and is both Demeter and CCOF certified. It has consistently won some of the highest accolades and awards from prestigious challenges and publications including Gayot and the Wine Enthusiast.
